You might have had a “feeling” about an event before or during it that seemed to come into your thoughts from out of the blue. Where do these thoughts or feelings come from? Often we refer to this as our intuition. What is intuition and how do we cultivate it in ourselves so that we achieve the highest level of awareness we can about the things around us in our daily life? This week we’ll talk with a guest who teaches others how to more easily tap into their own intuition. Join us for our discussion to hear why you should be tuning in to your intuitive feelings more often.
Kristina Bloom is a psychic, medium, and channel for The Divine. For more than a decade she has been facilitating individual and gallery Psychic readings across the country, speaking in front of both small and large groups. The insight and wisdom of Spirit easily moves through her allowing for clear information for the receivers of the messages to come through. With her light-hearted nature Kristina continues to get confirmation from Spirit until the messages become clear to her audience.
Kristina is the creator and facilitator of the Intuitive You! program for psychic development. In teaching Intuitive You! Kristina understands that everyone’s gifts are individual to that person and need to be nurtured as such. With the belief that everyone has intuitive abilities she tailored the class in a way that supports each student’s natural ability and provides each student the freedom, along with guidance, to develop their gifts as they choose.

As we continue to look at the many ways that we connect with the Divine, this week we look to the sky….and the moon and the stars, and the messages that they hold for us. Astrology has its roots in calendrical systems used to predict seasonal shifts and to interpret celestial cycles as sings of divine communications. Many cultures have attached importance to astronomical events, and the Indians, Chinese and Mayans developed elaborate systems for predicting terrestrial events from celestial observations. We’re going to be looking closer at the history and science of Astrology with a guest who has extensive experience understanding and interpreting astrological significance.
Denise Zingg has been studying Astrology for decades, and hand drew charts for years before computers. These days she uses a computer for creating astrological charts and the art of understanding and interpreting them comes with years of practice. She has given numerous private consultations as well as classes in Astrology through the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and in private homes and studios. Denise is also the Founder and Director of Spectrum School and Community Gallery in Racine, Wisconsin.

As we explore how we connect with Universal Energy and the Divine, we consider all the ways that we receive messages and guidance. People see, feel and hear messages from many places and sources, and it can be particularly helpful at times of indecision to receive guidance from a variety of perspectives. For many, the Tarot is a tool for guidance, personal growth and development of intuition.
Our guest this week teaches and uses Tarot in her work, with the Tarot deck of cards as an ideal tool to stimulate our inner knowing. She will share her thoughts and experiences on how the Tarot can provide assistance, delving into the parts of us that are both non-rational and wise.
Karen Carnabucci, LCSW, TEP, is a licensed psychotherapist in Racine, Wis., who uses and teaches non-traditional healing and body-mind methods, including psychodrama, family constellation work, guided imagery, sand tray, Tarot and other approaches.
Karen is the only certified psychodramatist in Wisconsin and is board certified at the highest level as a master trainer of this method. She has also been involved with the emerging healing process of constellation work since 2002 and is certified in this method by Heinz Stark, an internationally recognized constellation trainer from Germany.
She is the author of Show and Tell Psychodrama: Skills for Therapists, Coaches, Teachers, Leaders, published in June 2014.
She also is the co-author of Integrating Psychodrama And Systemic Constellation Work: New Directions For Action Methods, Mind-Body Therapies And Energy Healing with the late Ronald Anderson and the co-author of Healing Eating Disorders with Psychodrama and Other Action Methods: Beyond the Silence and the Fury with Linda Ciotola.

This week we start a series of shows about the Spirit aspect of the Mind Body Spirit connection. We’ll explore the many ways that we connect to God, the Universe and Divine energy. With so many ways of defining and explaining our spiritual exploration, we’ll begin by developing a foundational understanding of some of the common concepts and terminology that will be a part of our conversation.
Some of the most basic ways that people connect to God and the Divine are through religious and spiritual practices. But what exactly is considered “religion” and “spirituality”, and what habits and processes are part of each of these? More importantly, what can we look for as clues to having a healthy relationship with our religion and spirituality? Our guest this week is a Pastor and teacher of religious studies and brings her extensive experience to this opening discussion.
