News of Hope in Cancer Care with Dr. Michael Mullane – 6-11-16

There are few diseases that have affected as many individuals and families as Cancer. It can be a devastating diagnosis, but more and more, there are reasons to have hope due to the progress being made in treatment options for many forms of cancer. As part of our discussion on exciting medical news, this week we are joined by an accomplished and highly respected oncologist who will share with us the things that he is most excited about in advancements in the treatment of cancer.
Dr. Michael Mullane is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology, and practices with Aurora hospitals in Southeastern Wisconsin. He did a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo, and he completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis. Dr. Mullane earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD.
Dr. Mullane summarizes his perspective on his work by saying: “I believe outstanding, personalized cancer care can be delivered by combining the most recent scientifically advanced treatments with compassionate, honest communication in a community setting staffed by a team of well-trained, dedicated cancer care professionals. It is my goal to help you achieve the very best results possible during a difficult time.”
